When you’re planning for your wedding, there are bound to be a million things running through your mind. Your schedule will be filled with tux fittings, cake tastings, venue tours, and mentally preparing for that big day.
One important step for that wedding prep is your bachelor’s party, organized by your best man and your closest friends, your groomsmen. Leading up to that day they may offer advice, buy you a drink, and help calm your nerves before you marry your person. After all, they’ve done for you while you prepare for your wedding, you want to do something nice for them to show them how much you appreciate their support.
These are the perfect gifts for groomsmen.
1. Key Holder
No matter who your groomsmen are, they all have keys for something. They may have them hooked up to an old lanyard that’s falling apart, a bottle-opener keychain, or a carabiner that looks like it could give out at any second.
Help them out by buying them a new, sleek, minimalist key holder, sure to fit in with any of their aesthetics (even your pal that refuses to wear anything but black or grey). This way they’ll have a place to keep all their keys in one location, without having to worry that they could all fall out at any minute. They’ll thank you later.
2. Wallet and Key Tracker
We all have one friend who seems to lose their keys or wallet everywhere. Considering they have to use both of these items every single day of their lives, it can truly be a special talent how easily your friends can misplace these essential items.
Give them a hand at keeping their stuff together by gifting them all a wallet and key tracker that makes an incredibly loud alarm sound and flashes a bright LED light so they can’t possibly miss them. Plus, some are even solar-powered, if they cannot be bothered to remember to charge anything.
3. Laptop Cases
If all of your friends are either obsessed with their business or writers on-the-go, consider buying them all new laptop cases to keep their laptops safe and looking professional.
If they’ve been using the same old backpack for years, it may be about time for them to upgrade to something that looks a little more grown-up and classy.
Though that neoprene sleeve that only has one compartment was totally fine in college, they may be needing one that offers a bit more protection and has different pockets to keep their chargers and phones.
4. Phone Cases
Some people are notorious for never using a phone case. And it stresses the rest of us out. These are usually the guys that also seem to drop everything they hold, and yet, they feel like “they don’t need a case” until, of course, they do.
If your groomsmen are those guys, relieve some of that anxiety from yourself and your friends by giving them a durable phone case that gives them no excuse not to protect their phone from the inevitable drop.
Switch it Up
If you know that each of your groomsmen has different needs or tastes, feel free to switch it up by giving them different things. This shows them that you pay attention to your buddies, and makes you an overall good friend.
As for your best man, consider splurging a bit and getting him something that’s maybe a bit nicer or more expensive than your other groomsmen’s gifts. After all, he is probably the one that has been there for you even before your partner entered the picture, and he deserves the recognition.
