Reduced risk of heart disease  

One of the most major benefits of hemp seeds is that they can help lower the risk of heart disease. This is because of the arginine that is contained within the seeds. Arginine is an amino acid that produces a molecule known as nitric oxide, and this molecule helps lower blood pressure. Lower blood pressure means less risk of heart disease. 

Delicious and highly nutritious

Hemp seeds make for a great snack because of the various healthy things contained within them. For example, there is a lot of omega-3 and omega-6 in the seeds. They are also a very good source of protein and make a great option for anyone who is looking for plant-based protein to add to their diet. 

Not only that, but these seeds contain helpful minerals like iron, zinc, and even magnesium. There is also vitamin E in them as well. No preparation is required when it comes to eating hemp seeds, but they can be cooked if desired. Hemp seeds also contain fiber, which can be helpful for your gut health.

Can be very useful as an oil

Hemp seeds can be turned into oil. This oil has a lot of helpful benefits, but the biggest one is that it is really good for your skin. If you have really dry skin or your skin is itchy, hemp seed oil can help relieve those issues. Not only that, but some studies have indicated that hemp seed oil can also be used to help relieve the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. 

They can help reduce inflammation

Beyond the nutritious benefits of hemp seeds, there is another benefit that comes from eating them. As mentioned earlier, hemp seeds are jam-packed with fatty acids like omega-3 and omega-6 that are known to help with inflammation. Reducing inflammation can also help you with diseases like type 2 diabetes. 

This anti-inflammatory property can also help with the symptoms of neurological diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's and mitigate any kind of neuropathic pain. 

Can be very helpful for symptoms of menopause

For older women who are dealing with the symptoms of menopause, studies are showing that hemp seeds can offer relief. Hemp seeds contain something called gamma-linolenic acid (GLA for short). This GLA can help reduce the symptoms and has shown that it will help younger women mitigate the symptoms of PMS as well.

As you can see, hemp seeds have plenty of benefits. It doesn't matter if they are in seed form and eaten or if they are used as an oil.
