About me: I am a full time physics professor at Arcadia University, also serving as a Pre-Engineering Program Director. My research is in the area of experimental particle physics. It focuses on studying particles called neutrinos and unknown territory of dark matter. Serbia, South East of Europe is my bithplace and live in US since 2001. My doctoral studies in physics were done at Drexel University. I live with my three kids, husband and a puppy in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

How We'll Learn

This course is divided into Modules (Chapters) that last 1 week. Each week will include:

material for you to read, watch, and explore;
a practice activity, and
a graded assignment to allow you to work with the concepts and resources.

Expectations for the Coursework

This course is an introduction to physics. It is not calculus based but it still necessary uses basis of calculus. However, rather than arming you with set of equations that you can blindly use to solve problems, we will focus on problem solving techniques. We will aim on developing conceptual understanding of basic physics principles.

You will need the following in order to participate in this course:

Computer or tablet (see Arcadia recommended configuration)
Reliable internet connection
Microphone/Webcam (most laptops have an integrated camera and microphone)
Access to Canvas using a supported web browser
